The history of Singheshwar Mahadev Medhepura

Now we are going to take Singeshwar Temple. This place is also known as Singheswar. Saint Sringhi did penance at this same place. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva were pleased by his penance. The lingam is divided into three parts based on faith. Sringi sage blessed King Dasaratha that was the cause of the born of Ram, Laxman, Satrughn in his house. Saint Sringhi got this power from Lord Shiva. This is the place where Lord Shiva called Saint Sringhi as his Lord. That is why this place is called Singheswar. We bow to this saint Singheswar. Singheswar temple is constructed according to the hindu vastu sastra. In the south of the Singheswar statue, there is the idol of Lord Ganesha. On the right there is the temple of Maa Parvati. In the west-north there is the temple of Bhairav and Kartik Lord. In the south- west there is the idol of saint Sringh, Lord Rama and Radha- Krishna. In the campus of temple, there is an Ashoka tree. It is said that mourning are destroyed to worship this tree. Here is crowded full of devotees. Devotees take a dip in the Ganga. Line slayer worships the Lord Singeshwar. Slogan Bol bam keep resonating inside the temple. Devotees bring Water filled from the sacred temple of simariya and put on Baba Singheswar. Some devotees without stopping reach Singheswar temple they are called as Dak Bam. Dak bam is served by the sewadars .The grace of Baba Singheshwar is limitless. Thousands of devotees come here every day. It is said that one who worships from the true heart gets the blessings of Baba Singheshwar just like Raja Dasrath. We bow to this Saint Singheshwar.
